Kinds of Events

• Event - Useful for any type of event that is non-volunteering. Meetings, trainings, etc. Main difference is you can turn off impacts.
• Fundraiser - Accept donations or create a crowdfunding campaign.
• Donation Drive - Facilitate in-kind/non-monetary donation drives with built-in tools for drop-off coordination and delivery tracking.
• Ticketed Event - Need to sell tickets for an event.
• Project - Facilitate a project by specifying and tracking outcomes and milestones.
• Pledge - Ask participants to commit to take action on a one-time or recurring basis.

Types

• Multiday - An event that spans multiple consecutive days.
• Random Dates - An event that meets every now and then. Note that these types of events can not have shifts or timeslots.
• Open Opportunity - No set dates. After someone registers you will need to reach out and coordinate with them. Shifts cannot be added (as they have dates).

Shifts/Timeslots

• Shifts allow you to define multiple start/end times during your event. You determine how many people are needed when, where and can give a unique title and description to each shift.
• Timeslots allow registrants to pick their start/end times. You set the hours for each day and they select when they will attend.

Types

• Open Opportunity - A fundraising page that can accept donations at any time for any purpose. Ongoing fundraising pages can accept one-time or recurring donations. They will remain active until deactivated by an admin.
• Multiday & Single Day - A fundraiser with a limited timeframe. Use multiday and single day fundraisers for crowdfunding campaigns or giving days. The fundraiser will not accept donations until the launch date and time remaining to donate will appear on your fundraiser page.
