CCE Course Support Grant Application (Spring 2021)
The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) is dedicated to supporting civic engagement, which often means reducing barriers to meaningful community-based experiences. Faculty needing to offset costs in their community-based-learning (CBL) course may submit a grant application. Small grants to fund honoraria for guest speakers, transportation costs, and reimbursement for material purchases are just a few examples of applications that have been approved during previous semesters.

Because funding is limited, the CCE evaluates requests with the following goals in mind: encouraging CBL across a wide variety of disciplines, eliminating financial barriers for students in CBL classes, and spreading CBL opportunities to as many students as possible.

The CCE aims to co-sponsor CBL projects with other campus organizations when possible.

Please contact Cory Schutter cory.schutter@richmond.edu with questions about your application. Cory will contact you within 2-5 days of receipt of your application to notify you whether your application has been approved or if he needs additional information.
